Hope you’re sitting down, because we now know the premiere date for “Game of Thrones” Season 7
Bundle up tight, we now know when winter will arrive because the wait is finally over. After playing super coy when it comes to the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere date for the last few months, during a Facebook Live, the highly anticipated date was revealed. Also, it was done so in the most Game of Thrones way, but more on that after the premiere date. The premiere date is the most important thing right now, obviously.
So, go ahead and clear your schedule — and then the following seven Sundays to watch Game of Thrones every week live at 9 p.m EST (or 6 p.m PST if you’re on the west coast and have an HBOGO account).
Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere July 16th, 2017.
Game of Thrones, being Game of Thrones, didn’t just want to simply announce the premiere date in a normal way, because that is b-o-r-i-n-g. Instead of just dropping the date in a press release, they decided to freeze the date in a block of ice, and then slowly melt it with blow torches dragons. It’s like Dany thought this up herself — go big or go home.
Seriously. This went on for over an hour, and over a million people watched this happen live on Facebook. But hey, anything for Game of Thrones — now only 129 days away!!
