The “Game of Thrones” director just teased that someone completely unexpected might die in the finale
Season 7 of Game of Thrones has certainly brought plenty of happy moments, and (of course) some sad ones too. But is it possible that all of this is leading up to an especially dark moment in the finale? A Game of Thrones director is now hinting that one of the Stark sisters might not make it to Season 8.
And we are not okay with it, not even in the slightest.
We’ve loved all of the reunions in Season 7 of Game of Thrones, but the reunion between Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) was one of our favorites. Except things haven’t been looking so great for the sisters since.
Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) has been working to create tension between the sisters, and it looks like his plan is totally working. Just look to “Beyond the Wall,” in which it seemed like Arya turned to her dark side and against Sansa. (Unless this is all part of the sisters’ plan?! That’s a theory that’s floating around…)
This is very upsetting, since we’ve finally gotten the sisters back together again. And Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor implied in a recent interview with HuffPost that there’s even worse to come in the finale.
"I love the fact that these two come back, they’re both lethal, and I just wanted to give the impression, as much as possible, that one of them is going to die. But you’re not sure which one."
WTF. This is not okay.
