We’ve finally found the grossest thing on “Game of Thrones,” and it’s Sam’s new job
It’s the most wonderful time of year again. Game of Thrones is back! There are spoilers ahead for the Season 7 premiere, “Dragonstone,” so if you haven’t watched it yet, what are you doing here? Shoo.
After seven seasons, countless deaths, so many beheadings, and that one time Oberyn’s eyes were squished out of his head, we have finally discovered the grossest thing to ever happen on Game of Thrones:
Sam cleaning bedpans.
The Maester-in-training is trying so hard at his new job, and his new job is so disgusting. Poor Sam. He thought he was signing up for this fun new gig where he just got to sit in a library all day and read books (but not ones from the Restricted Section). Instead, at the Citadel he’s literally cleaning up poop, scrubbing the pans, dealing with Westeros outhouses, and feeding the prisoners. Doesn’t help that he’s being fed food that looks exactly like the feces he’s cleaning up. It’s nasty.
You probably watched all of the Red Wedding, but for this Sam montage, you more than likely covered your eyes at one point.
It’s okay, Twitter completely agrees with you on this one.
Let's never speak of that Sam montage again #gameofthrones

Six seasons of violence and gore and death and the worst thing I've ever seen on #GameofThrones is Sam's daily life montage.

false false
We've got like 15 hours left of GOT. Can we not spend it with Sam cleaning up old men's poop and putting books away

Let’s hope the remaining 14 episodes of Game of Thrones are completely bedpan-free. (But you’re doing a great job, Sam!)
