The “Game of Thrones” season finale images show us that Jon Snow has no idea how to dress for a meeting in King’s Landing

As it has been well established over the course of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow is very brave, bold, and honorable, but maybe lacks a little bit of common sense. There’s a reason he “knows nothing.” Case in point, he thought it would be a good idea to lead a band of men beyond The Wall to capture a wight to show it to Cersei. The reasoning behind that is…faulty, at best. But you know what, he’s Jon Snow, so we’ve always given him the benefit of the doubt on Game of Thrones.

Also, his plan to capture a wight worked — even though it almost got him, and everyone else, killed.

But once again, here we are, and we need to have a talk with Jon Snow. This time, about his fashion choices. HBO has just released a handful of images from the season finale, some of them showcasing the meeting between Jon and Cersei.

These pictures are great, and I’m already pretty emotional, but Jon…why are you wearing head to toe FUR? Like, I get it, “winter is coming” and things have gotten colder, and the temperature has probably dropped a few degrees in King’s Landing. But Jon, how are you not feeling a thousand degrees right now?

Like he’s wearing his full armor, which he often wears around Winterfell. But on top of that, he is wearing his giant coat, lined with fur, and he sometimes doesn’t even wear that wandering around Winterfell. Now here he is, standing outside, and like, why didn’t anyone stop you before you left the house this morning, Jon, to tell you this was extra excessive?

TYRION ISN’T EVEN WEARING A COAT! It can’t be that cold outside.

Jon, it’s fine if you want to look impressive and regal, but certainly you saw Dany before you left the Targaryen boat and maybe this is half her fault for not going, “Jon, you are going to be so hot standing in front of Cersei, and also you are recovering from a bout with hypothermia, maybe leave the fur coat behind?”

Come on. Are you really that cold?

We’ll find out exactly why Jon thinks this coat is a good idea when the season finale of Game of Thrones airs this Sunday.
