Today in sibling rivalries, there’s going to be a Jon-Sansa power struggle in “Game of Thrones” Season 7

There’ll surely be no shortage of drama on Game of Thrones Season 7. As we draw closer to the end of the series, we can only assume tensions across the board will continue to grow as all of the characters descend on King’s Landing. And it appears those tensions extend to siblings.
Brace yourself, because apparently Sansa Stark and Jon Snow won’t be best friends despite being, ya know, related!
We left Westeros with Jon (Kit Harington) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) teaming up to take care of Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) cause he was basically The Worst. But, there were already signs of tension starting to show between the siblings.
Both have ideas about how to run things and according to Harington, this tension only grows. (Maybe that’s why they look so sad in photos for the season.) In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, he spoke about what we can expect from the upcoming season:
“There are the same problems — she questions his decisions and command; he doesn’t listen to her. But as far as where that goes or takes them or how dark it can get, we’ll see. It gets past sibling squabbling, it gets into two people power struggling.
Now that so many people have died, it’s natural that the remaining characters will start to squabble — even Sansa and Jon! There will be fewer episodes this season, but as more storylines seem to be merging, we’re sure we’ll see our favorites butting heads too.
Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres July 16th on HBO — and you know it’s gonna be epic.
