That sound you hear is me screaming over that Dany and Jon moment in the “Game of Thrones” season finale

There are intense and major spoilers ahead for the Game of Thrones season finale, “The Dragon and the Wolf.” If for some reason you didn’t watch it as soon as it premiered, what are you doing on the internet? Leave this place. Shoo. Or click right here and watch it on HBO Go now. You’re welcome.

This is your last chance to turn back. Also, this is the perfect time to start preparing yourself for the brick wall of EMOTIONS you’re about to hit.

As we’ve watched their relationship build over the last few episodes of the season, it is clear that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have FEELINGS FOR ONE ANOTHER. Last episode, they held hands for like 15 seconds, and I went into a glass case of emotion for seven days. And you know what happens next — because first comes hand holding, second comes secret talks in the crumbling dragon pit, third comes sex with your aunt.

And listen, let’s just pause for a second. I know incest is very bad, and yes, there’s no way to dance around this anymore. Dany and Jon are related, because they are aunt and nephew. Bran finally confirmed this out loud for all of us when he visited a flashback showing Rhaegar and Lyanna’s secret Dorne wedding. But I think we (you, and me, and everyone else who watches Game of Thrones) has just agreed to turn a blind eye to this fact right now, because Westeros is falling and we all need something good to cling to. If one of these good things just happens to be the relationship between relatives, then you know what, so be it. I’ll allow it.

Because, YOU GUYS, Jon paid Dany a booty call while traveling North, and the year is 2017, and I never in a million years thought I would be cheering on an incestuous booty call. But here we are.

Dany lets Jon inside, because Jon Snow has bedroom eyes even outside of the bedroom. Meanwhile, while this is happening, Bran is explaining to Sam (who’s just returned back to Winterfell) that Jon is in fact the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. NOW CUT TO:

Nice juxtaposition, Game of Thrones.

It’s going to take a few days before I have fully recovered from this, for a variety of reasons. Good thing we have *maybe two years* until Game of Thrones is back on our television screens. Hopefully I have gotten over Jon + Dany by then. (But probably not.)
