“Game of Thrones” will turn you into No One this year at Comic-Con, and it is INTENSE
If you’re the biggest show on the planet, when you roll into the annual San Diego Comic-Con, you know you have to deliver. You just can’t phone in your appearance at the biggest geeky/nerdy/awesome convention on the planet. For those worried that Game of Thrones won’t live up to to high expectations this year, well, you better start GETTING HYPE.
Sure, the big Game of Thrones panel will happen Saturday afternoon, but before that you can check out everything else the hit HBO show has to offer. This year, they’ve recreated the Faceless Men’s Hall of Faces right across the street from the San Diego Convention Center — 628 L Street, across from the Omni Hotel — and don’t worry, to get in, you don’t have to give up your identity and then follow through with a bunch of Jaqen H’ghar’s tasks. You just have to wait in line.
Once inside, you’ll find yourself immersed in the Game of Thrones world, and starring at a bunch of faces on a great big wall. You can join their ranks, too, thanks to some nifty technology that will take your picture, and then display it among the Game of Thrones cast members. Just be warned, it’s a little bit surreal.
