Gabrielle Union’s daughter is literally her mini-me in her Bring It On-inspired cheerleader costume
Ready? Okay. Overwhelming cuteness has been brought. Bring It On star Gabrielle Union posted a series of adorable photos with her daughter Kaavia James on Instagram on Friday, September 27th, and we can’t handle this sweet mother-daughter duo.
Union dressed her 11-month-old daughter in a cheerleader uniform inspired by her iconic Bring It On costume. Kaavia wore a bright green cheerleading skirt and top with red and yellow stripes, just like Union’s classic “Clovers” uniform that she rocked as head cheerleader Isis in the hit 2000 movie.
Unlike Union’s Clover uniform, Kaavia’s covers her stomach and reads “Runza,” which is a Nebraska chain of restaurants. Union is from Nebraska, and Kaavia wore the uniform in honor of the football game between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, September 28th.
Union captioned the post, “Bring it!!!!! Thank you @runzarestaurants for @kaaviajames Runza Clovers outfit to kick off her very 1st visit to #Nebraska ???”
We have to say, Kaavia looks at home in the mini uniform. Maybe she’ll follow in her mom’s footsteps and become a cheerleader—or play one in a movie. It looks like Union tried to teach Kaavia some cheers, with no luck. All in good time—she isn’t even a year old, after all. Even though she might not be performing any actual cheers yet, Kaavia is still the cutest cheerleader we’ve ever seen.
