‘Fuller House’ is now full of Bob Saget

At the rate Full House cast members are joining Fuller House, we might have to rename it Fullest House. The latest ones to sign on? None other than Bob Saget, a.k.a. Danny Tanner, and Lori Loughlin, playing his Wake Up San Francisco co-host Rebecca Katsopolis, better known to us as Aunt Becky!

Early Thursday morning, Lori Loughlin announced on Good Morning America that she’d be joining  Netflix’s 13-episode Full House revival, and was absolutely thrilled to share the good news with us.

“It’s going to be really great to be back with the whole cast. It’s going to be a lot of fun,” she explained to GMA, “We’re going to help Candace [Cameron], Jodie [Sweetin] and Andrea [Barber] spin off the new show. So [John Stamos and I] come back and do the first episode and maybe throughout we’ll pop up here and there.” Can you pop up all the time, like just randomly in the kitchen grabbing a snack or maybe sitting on the couch or taking Comet for a walk?

If that’s not enough Fuller House news for one day, late Thursday night Uncle Jesse broke the news that Bob Saget will once again to return to his role as a neat-freak and ever doting dad.

Glad that Stamos also recognizes that this is a perfect reunion. So now that means we’ve got DJ, Stephanie, Kimmy, Uncle Joey, Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky AND Danny. It’s still a major bummer that Mary-Kate and Ashley have opted out of joining this joyous Full House extravaganza, but I imagine the door will always be open should they decide to return at any point. Don’t know how the show will tackle two Michelles, or even dueling Michelles, but let’s cross that bridge when we get there.

Now that all the major cast members have been checked off, time to check in on Steve. I can’t be the only person desperately holding out for DJ’s high school sweetheart to return, right? We’ve still got plenty of time to track him down at least, as Fuller House will begin shooting this summer, and drop onto Netflix in 2016.
