Disney’s winter is coming, because these stars will soon be back in the recording studio for “Frozen 2”
ATTENTION, Frozen fans: Get ready to build a snowman again — like really, really soon. Jonathan Groff, who voiced Kristoff in the original Frozen, just told Entertainment Weekly that he’s getting geared up to record for the upcoming Frozen sequel.
“I’m about to go into the recording studio in a couple of weeks, or maybe a month? he said. “They’re about to really get into the thick of recording it, which I’m excited about. I don’t know anything about it yet other than I’m about to start recording my section of it.
Sadly, Groff couldn’t divulge anything plot-wise, explaining that everything is being kept “totally lock and key,” BUT take comfort in knowing that he is just as eager as we are to get back to Arendelle Castle.
“I’m just excited that I’m in it [laughs], you know? Excited to be in it and that creative team is also just so amazing, so I’m excited to get back in a room with them and play around," he said. "The four of them are such an awesome team and I really, really love them.
Those four being directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
Now, if the sequel’s 2019 release just feels waaaaay, way too far away, we do have a few gems to tide you over.

Then there’s the trailer for Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, an upcoming short featuring the voices of Josh Gad, Bell, and Menzel, which dropped last month and looks like all kind of wintery goodness.

Let’s not forget the option of listening to “Let It Go” over and over again, which we’ll definitely be doing until Frozen 2 comes out on November 27th, 2019.
