Kristen Bell’s Frozen 2 update will make you want to head back to Arendelle ASAP
Pack your bags, everybody, because it’s time to go back to Arendelle! Yes, we know Spring has officially (finally!) sprung and we’re already well into the month of April (Um, wait, where is this year going? How are we already four months in?), but we can’t say goodbye to winter just yet because Kristen Bell just teased Frozen 2 and now, all we want to do is build a snowman, TBH. Listen, who needs warmer weather when Anna and Elsa are about to come back into our lives?! This is not a drill, this is what we’ve been waiting for, people!
Bell stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and dropped some hints about the highly-anticipated sequel to Frozen.
And — get this — she’s already recorded the whole thing! Cue our intense pangs of jealousy for the entire Bell household because they probably get to hear her singing the songs while going about her life.
"Well you know I can't say a lot because Disney has people everywhere. But I have recorded the movie," Bell told DeGeneres. "There will be edits before it’s finished but I know the songs, I know the story, it’s very good — I can’t say much more than that or I’ll get in trouble! I'll get in trouble but it's very good."

Bell’s a good secret keeper, but we promise we won’t tell anyone if she gives us just a little taste of a new song…please?
Well, that was worth a try…
We don’t know much about Frozen 2 yet, other than the fact that it’s reuniting Bell with Idina Menzel as Elsa, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, as well as Frozen directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
Frozen 2 hits theaters November 27th, 2019, and we’ll continue humming “Let It Go” until then.
