You can buy Friends-themed Guess Who-so could game night BE any better?
One of our favorite ways to pass the time while we’re self-quarantining during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is by playing board games. Over the past few weeks, we’ve dug out the dusty boxes tucked way back in our cupboards and resurrected trusty favorites: Cards Against Humanity, Yahtzee, and Rummikub. We’ve been getting our hands dirty with pawns and dice while engaging in some competitive banter with our families (who we’re self-isolating with). Now, we can add a brand-new game to our quarantine entertainment arsenal—or brand new version, that is: a Friends-themed Guess Who? board game.
Guess Who? has been a longtime favorite board game for players of all ages. But with this Friends version from Etsy, we can describe our favorite TV characters instead of random cartoon drawings. The handmade game from an Etsy seller named boredbutcozy (an accurate description of our current state) includes two game boards and 48 Friends characters to guess. The core gang is included, of course, along with their siblings, parents, exes, and coworkers. Some honorable mentions that would be really fun to describe: Gunther, Janice, Estelle, and Ursula.
Using beloved characters makes the questioning tactic more entertaining than ever. Instead of asking, “Does your character have blonde hair?” you can say, “Does your character religiously watch Baywatch?” or “Did your character own a hairless cat?” You’ll quickly realize how well you know Friends trivia, and we hope you’re more skilled at it than Courteney Cox.
Boredbutcozy on Etsy offers tons of versions of Guess Who? based off of TV shows, including Game of Thrones, The Office, Riverdale, Seinfeld, Gilmore Girls, New Girl, and Grey’s Anatomy. Shop the Friends version and other Guess Who? board games below.
