Freeform is showing Hocus Pocus and more of your faves during its 31 Nights of Halloween extravaganza
Every year, we look forward to October because, obviously, it’s Halloween month. And what happens during Halloween month? Per tradition, Freeform’s 13 Nights of Halloween kicks off, and the network airs our favorite spooky movies and specials as we count down to October 31st. But what’s special about this year is that in 2018, Freeform is celebrating 31 Nights of Halloween instead, which means we get to see more of our faves on the lineup than ever before.
To keep us all up to date, Freeform has shared its official schedule for October, and every night between now and Halloween is jam-packed with movies and specials you already know and love—and there’s new stuff too. On October 1st alone, Freeform will air ParaNorman twice—plus Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Has there ever been a better way to get into the Halloween spirit?
This year includes repeat viewings of the classics, like The Addams Family, The Haunted Mansion, and Hotel Transylvania. And aside from the fact that Hocus Pocus will be airing multiple times a week, in celebration of the movie’s 25th anniversary, it’ll be on all day and all night on Halloween, along with a special called Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash.
Basically, our plans are set for this month. See you in November.
As for the new stuff on this year’s lineup, Freeform is premiering movies like Maleficent and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and will air Decorating Disney: Halloween Magic, which takes viewers behind the scenes to show the process of decorating the Disney parks for the holidays.
You can check out the full schedule here—and you might wanna think about adding a few reminders on your phone so you don’t miss your favorites. Or, you know, just cancel all your plans for the month and park in front of the TV every night. Either way, you can’t lose.
