Vitally important: How to get free pancakes at IHOP today for National Pancake Day

If you’re in the midst of a holiday drought, you may want to remember that it’s actually National Pancake Day — and thanks to IHOP, your celebratory pancakes may be on the house.

While there are a few pancake-related holidays throughout the year, the national chain celebrates annually during the early months, this year deciding on February 27th. Even though it seems a little too good to be true, they’ll be offering up a free short stack of pancakes to customers between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fortune notes that select locations may even extend the promotion until 10 p.m. A short stack typically runs around $4.79, making this a pretty great deal.

Even though the pancakes are free, you still may be inspired to open your wallet. IHOP also uses today to promote their favorite charities. According to their website, they’re hoping to raise five million for their partnered organizations, which include children’s hospitals and health organizations like Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Kiwanis International, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The promotion has run since 2006, and they’ve raised over $30 million since the first National Pancake Day.

The holiday is a good reminder that “every pancake has the right to pancake.” At least, according to IHOP they do.

The promotion is limited to one per guest, and it’s only for dine-in customers. false

Now go forth and get your free stack of pancakes on. And maybe donate to some amazing organizations while you’re at it.
