Frankie Muniz revealed his biggest “DWTS” fear, and we’re officially worried for him
If you’re a fan of Dancing with the Stars, you might have noticed that Frankie Muniz will be dancing next season. And according to the Malcolm in the Middle star himself, he had been asked about the show for quite some time before officially signing on. And by “quite some time,” we mean “more than a decade.”
"I've been asked, I think, every year for the past 12 years," Muniz said to Us Weekly.
Even though he’s not on a weekly sitcom anymore, Muniz is still keeping pretty busy. Since he’s been so selective with his roles, some fans may have been surprised to see him on this season of Preacher. His character? Frankie Muniz.
Schedule aside, it’s possible that Muniz declined so often due to his biggest fear — which is, oddly enough, dancing in public.
"To be honest, my biggest fear is dancing in public," he admitted to Us. "No joke. I want to because I love to dance in my room by myself, but if anyone is around, my body just doesn't move. It just doesn't."
Fingers crossed that Muniz quickly gets over the phobia — but to be honest, knowing that he’ll be conquering a fear on a weekly basis makes us a little more excited to watch him perform.
Muniz is definitely not a stranger to the stage. In fact, a few years ago, he was the drummer of a Pennsylvania-based band called Kingsfoil.

His last gig with the band was at the University of Wyoming back in 2014. And sure, while hanging out behind a drum set is different than dancing on one of the most popular shows on television, we have faith that Muniz is going to be fantastic.
