Forever 21 found a way to make ‘Star Wars’ style look undeniably cool

Forever 21 is aiming to take your wardrobe to a galaxy far, far, away, and they want to do it fashionably, of course. Hey, if you thought you didn’t need a Star Wars-themed bodycon dress, you were wrong. Everyone’s favorite fast fashion retailer just released a limited edition Star Wars capsule collection, with 30 pieces of branded merchandise across the men, women, and children’s categories, and we want all of it.

The collection definitely has a distinctly Forever 21 aesthetic. Think crop tops adorned with iconic Star Wars imagery, hooded jumpsuits with famous lines from the movie, and tiny boxers adorned with a Storm Trooper print. Nearly every item sticks to a basic black-and-white design and pulls inspiration more from the saga itself than any one particular movie in the franchise.

Linda Chang, the VP of Merchandising at Forever 21, told StarWars.com that this collection was about providing “on-trend merchandise with the nostalgic charm of a legendary movie.” She also said Forever 21 was “thrilled to collaborate with Lucasfilm on this limited edition collection to bring their iconic and timeless Star Wars characters to the wardrobes of fashionable enthusiasts.”

The women’s collection features a mix of athleisure wear, sleepwear, and bodycon dresses, and every item is under thirty bucks. You can pick it up now both in-stores and online, so buy it while you can, before your only hope is a 50% markup on eBay.
