As much as we love our neon pink nails, it’s time to put away the fluorescent polish shades and reach for something that feels more autumn-esque. Thankfully, purveyors of indie nail polish, Floss Gloss, came out with not one, but TWO, shades that are as perfect for fall as those GD pumpkin spiced lattes (and, spoiler alert — they are NOT the color of pumpkins)!

Continuing with their tradition of coming up with insanely genius polish names, the two shades are called…drum roll please… Mauve Wives and Palazzo Pleasures.

First up, Mauve Wives is described as a muted violet wine with gray undertones.

As for the name, well, if you’re a fan of the badass women in The Godfather movies, Married to the Mob, Goodfellas, and the TV show Mob Wives (RIP Big Ang!), you’ll most certainly appreciate this playful pun.

Palazzo Pleasures is more of a dusty lilac, but also has gray undertones.

And look how wonderfully it complements this bunny!

Put these two polishes together and instead of a mob wives catfight, you’ll have the most incredible ombré ever!

You can pick up both shades in this $14 Mauve Lives set or for $8 each. Floss Gloss is also cruelty-free, vegan, and 7-free, which means their polishes don’t contain dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, triphenyl phosphate (TPHP) or xylene.

So not only will your claws look fierce AF, you won’t have to worry about questionable chemicals!
