Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) just dressed like our fave ’70s songstresses
Singer Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) is an inspiration for a multitude of reasons. She actively runs her own book club “Between Two Books” with her fans, she performed a personal concert for a fan in hospice, and she slays at covering any Fleetwood Mac song. But yesterday on Instagram, she reminded us of yet another reason we love Florence:
Girl knows how to dress.
BRB while we marvel over every aspect of this outfit, from the brown suede heeled boots to the wide flare jeans, the cropped peasant top, and the layered bone and metal necklaces. Yep, still swooning.
The outfit feels like an homage to some of the seventies style-icons of the past. Case and point…
Stevie Nicks:
The fringe, the flares, the stone and silver jewelry!
Joni Mitchell:
Wonder if Florence walked into her hair salon and showed them this picture of Joni?
Jane Birkin:
Those jeans, girl. Iconic.
