This woman’s Facebook post about a flight attendant’s awesome act of kindness is going viral

Babies and air travel can be a bit of a challenge. We all know what it’s like to sit near a crying baby on a plane. But think for a minute about what it would be like to be that baby’s mom. I mean, it’s got to be stressful trying to calm your crying child while everyone around you is giving you the side eye. Not fun, you guys. So when a Southwest Airlines flight attendant recently went out of her way to help a mom in this situation, the thankful mom took to Facebook to express her gratitude. Now her post about this awesome flight attendant’s act of kindness is going viral.

Heather Gooch was traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Islip, New York, with her husband and their 9-month-old baby when her son started getting fussy. TBH, we don’t really blame him. It was his very first flight, and we can only imagine how scary that would be. (After all, some adults gets anxious on planes and they have the added benefit of knowing what the heck is going on. Babies, not so much.) Just when Heather began to get stressed, a super amazing flight attendant named Anisse swooped in to save the day. She picked the baby up and even carried him up and down the aisle so his mom and dad could enjoy their lunch.

In her post, Heather says, “Anisse went above and beyond to make sure that the trip went as smoothly as possible. I have NEVER had a flight attendant as kind and as helpful as she was. My son adored her and kept looking for her as she passed by…Although this may not be a story that stands out from the rest, I wanted to thank her and let her know how appreciated she is. We so often hear about the negative things going on so I wanted to share this story of a someone who made my trip a little brighter. Please help this get to her!”
