Fleamadonna’s latest show was the perfect mix of playful and tailored
Hailing from Seoul, Korean womenswear brand Fleamadonna just had their latest runway show and it was filled with sheer raincoats, fuzzy bras and plenty of well-cinched waists. The Fall 2017 fashion show both elegant and tailored, sending out look after look of classic styles with a twist. Trench coats were done in white with contrast stitching, sportswear inspired pieces were paired with asymmetrical frilled accents, and tartan blazers were paired with obi belts and sneakers. Korean fashion tends to mix playful and ultra-femme pieces with sportswear influences, a dichotomy clearly exemplified in this show. To celebrate the stellar season, we’ve picked our five favorite pieces from the collection.
1This pink puffer jacket

A pink puffer jacket of any length would be extraordinary, but this floor length version has us weak at the knees. “Greenery” may be the color of the year, but we still think that rose gold is its unofficial counterpart. As the puffer jacket made a comeback this past season, we can expect it to live on for at least a few more. Wear it with your thickest layers for a cold and brisk day, or with barely anything for a warmer spring one. Pair it with #rosegoldeverything for extra points.

Besides being super functional, raincoats are also pretty cute! There’s something old school and charming about a raincoat, and this clear version is speaking to us. And we love that for this show it was paired with sneakers because it’s actually wearable! Also, with its full skirt and nipped waist, this coat is versatile, too. Pair it with a bold print, like cheetah or flora, on a rainy day for some extra sunshine, or wear it with some peekaboo lace and leather for a sexier vibe when you’re feeling yourself.
3This all red everything look

Monochrome is all the rage this season, with shades of scarlet and red making major waves. So, of course we love this all red look from Fleamadonna, which feels equal parts totally wearable and totally fun. The tee shirt, midi skirt combo is easy to nail, and looks as good paired with a pair of sneakers as it does a pair of ankle boots.
4This sportswear with a twist fit
What starts out as a simple athleisure look is transformed into something strangely elegant, thanks to a frilled piece of lace that’s wrapped like a one-shoulder apron around the orange outfit underneath. Paired with shoulder-length silver earrings, this outfit is the high-low look of our dreams. Wear it with sneakers or a matching orange boot for extra oomph.
5This metallic masterpiece
Is there anything more fun than metallic outerwear? We’re living for this silver bomber and iridescent skirt combo. The fact that there’s a slogan shirt thrown in, with the word “celebration” on it nonetheless, makes this outfit feel even more Insta worthy. The tea length skirt and sneaker combo keeps the look playful while still elegant.
