“GoT” star Melisandre shared first photos of her baby and family and we’re squealing!
The Red Woman has birthed a child with Ed Exley, and our envy is out of control. Carice Van Houten, known for playing Melisandre on Game of Thrones (and for being one of the most beautiful women in the world), and Guy Pearce, known as one of the most versatile character actors of our generation, having played Felicia in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Leonard in Memento, and of course Ed Exley in L.A. Confidential, to name a few, just shared the first photos of their new baby boy.
Pearce tweeted a montage of pics of the ridiculously beautiful couple enjoying an autumnal walk with their gorgeous bambino, Monte Pearce.

This is the first child for both 39-year-old Van Houten and 48-year-old Pearce. Pearce was previously married to Kate Mestitz for 18 years, before they split in 2015. Though we remember being sad about the news, we’re so glad things have turned out well for him, and we’re thrilled about little Monte.
And we’re grateful the child doesn’t seem to have turned out to be some terrifying shadow a la that bizarre GoT childbirth scene.
“Ok. I’m ready for your shadowbaby jokes,” the actress tweeted, upon announcing her pregnancy.
Ok. I'm ready for your shadowbaby jokes.

Oh, Melisandre you slay us.
