Here’s our first look at the “Adventures in Babysitting” remake

Disney released a 10-minute sneak peak of the Adventures in Babysitting remake, and it’s making us super nostalgic.

The new adaptation will have a similar general storyline as the original, but more updated and technological (for example, cell phones certainly didn’t exist in 1987, when Chris lost sight of basically all the kids she was in charge of).

But for fans of the 1987 version of the movie, don’t worry. The remake isn’t meant to replace the original. It seems like it’s meant to introduce the story to a younger demographic that may not yet recognize just how cool the ’80s were.

Starring Sabrina Carpenter and Sofia Carson, the Disney Channel Original Movie will air on the Disney Channel on June 24 at 8 p.m..
