The first “Incredibles 2” footage is coming tomorrow, and where is our super suit?
Disney just teased a major announcement and it’s going have you breaking out that super suit.
It’s been thirteen years since The Incredibles taught us that not all superheroes wear capes — because no capes! — but now the wait is finally over as Disney just announced that the first teaser for the highly anticipated Pixar film The Incredibles 2 will air during tomorrow’s (November 18th) ESPN College GameDay broadcast.
The sequel picks up directly where the first film left off, as the superhero family must face off against a new threat, The Underminer.
Holly Hunter (Helen aka Elastigirl), Craig T. Nelson (Bob aka Mr. Incredible), Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone aka Lucius Best), Sarah Vowell (Violet), and writer/director Brad Bird (Edna Mode) are all reprising their beloved characters from the first film. Huck Milner will be replacing Spencer Fox as Dash while Pixar staple John Ratzenberger voices The Underminer.

Over the summer during D23, Disney’s biannual convention, Bird revealed that the sequel will find Bob finally attempting to master living a suburban lifestyle, as he needs to focus on raising the Jack-Jack, the Parr superpower-wielding toddler. He told the crowd, “Elastigirl and a certain chain of events put her at the forefront of the action, while Bob has to stay home facing his biggest challenge yet.”
During the convention, Bird also revealed that since the Parr’s home was destroyed at the end of The Incredibles, the sequel will find them in a brand new home that’ll also doubles as their superhero lair — and is full of sharp corners. Welp, it looks like Bob has some serious baby-proofing to do!
