Fiona Apple wrote a song for the Women’s March, and it’s called “Tiny Hands”
This is exactly the inspiration we needed before the biggest women’s march in decades takes to the streets on Saturday. Iconic ’90s feminist musician Fiona Apple has released a new song called “Tiny Hands” just in time for the Women’s March on Washington — and we are blasting it in our living rooms.
The insanely catchy tune opens with Trump’s disgusting caught-on-tape comments about grabbing women by their genitals, then Apple’s voice intones: “We don’t want your tiny hands, anywhere near our underpants.”
Sounds genius, right? It is.
According to the song’s Soundcloud page, “This is the chant that Fiona Apple created for the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. January 21st, 2017. She recorded it on a phone.”

Now that we’ve heard it, we can’t wait for the more than 200,000 people expected to attend the D.C. march to scream this chant at the top of their lungs. Not to mention the activists at the more than 600 sister marches in the nation, and all those marching worldwide!
While Apple hasn’t released a new album since 2012, she’s been using her time to create political anthems. Back in December, she released a song called “Trump’s Nuts Roasting on an Open Fire” and performed it at a We Rock With Standing Rock benefit show in Hollywood.
