Pixar threw the cleverest “Finding Dory” wrap party
In 10 short days, Finding Dory is going to swim back into theaters, and we can’t wait to be reunited with Marlin, Nemo, and oh wait, what’s her name? Oh right, Dory. Almost forgot.
JK JK JK we could never forget Dory, the cutest forgetful fish out there ever. With the completion of the movie, Pixar threw a party to mark the end of everyone’s hard work on their newest feature film, and did so in the most Dory fashion ever. They completely forgot what they were talking about.
Andrew Stanton, who directed Finding Nemo and now Finding Dory (along with A Bug’s Life and Wall-E) shared a picture to Twitter of the ~fancy~ theater Pixar rented out. Instead of calling attention to the movie’s screening, they made a great Dory joke. false
If you can’t read the sign, it says this in big block letters: “SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS CONVENTION,” and “JUNE 4? SHOOT I FORGOT WHAT TIME.”
We’ve never seen a more Dory-esque marquee. And in case you’re wondering, yes, it did thoroughly confuse the good people of Oakland, California (a short 10 minute drive away from the Pixar campus in Emeryville).
In case you’ve already forgotten, Finding Dory opens on June 17th.
