We can now find out how much our worries weigh (and yes, that makes us worried)

Stress can often make you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the entire world on your shoulders. Well, there’s now a way to determine just exactly how heavy that burden actually feels. A British insurance firm created a calculator that tells you how much your worries weigh. And if you’re pretty stressed out, your worries might really be physically dragging you down.

Like, possibly as if you have an actual lion sitting on top of you.

Liverpool Victoria (LV=) created the interactive calculator that measures the physical weight of stress in your life. Sounds odd and pretty much impossible? Well, it seems to actually work.

To find out how much your stress is weighing you down, the calculator first asks you a series of questions about how often you worry. Do you worry on a daily basis, about monthly responsibilities, only when there’s a problem, rarely, or not at all? You’re then asked to rate your stress level on a scale of 1 to 10 when it comes to money, health, career, family, and world affairs.

LV= asked 2,000 people to try out the calculator and found that the largest source of stress was money.

And TBH, that’s not at all surprising.

The firm found that the average weight of worry is 496 pounds. So if you’re a super worried person, chances are your stress weight is equivalent to a panda, gorilla, or tiger. If you’re pretty worry-free, you might be carrying around an octopus. But there’s only one way to find out…take the test.

Hakuna matata, you guys.
