Fifth Harmony has officially joined Taylor Swift’s #GirlSquad
Can you imagine a Taylor Swift girl band? Well, last night was the closest we got to making that a reality. Swift, whose 1989 tour has been notorious for it guest appearances, welcomed Fifth Harmony to the stage during her stop in Santa Clara, California. She joined the X-Factor born girl band in a surprise performance of their hit “Worth It,” and oh man, was it worth it.
Judging by Swift’s Instagram post, these ladies are all besties now. She posted this pic after their sound check, announcing that they taught her the choreography and even lent her an outfit for the show:
Swift hilariously deemed herself their “sixth member” on stage, referring to the pop princesses as having “one of the biggest smash hit singles in the country right now” with “one of the most powerful and loyal fan bases in the world.” This is high praise from the queen of pop!
Then, the real magic happened. From the moment the first note rippled through the audience, fans went wild. The ladies absolutely killed it — Tay even got her own verse in the song! Take a look:

If you’re worried you’ve missed out the Taylor Swift mania, don’t be. Her world-wild tour doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, with dates scheduled all the way into December. No word on who the future guest stars will be, but one thing is for certain: by the end of the tour, Swifty’s girl squad will be big enough to take over the world. And you know what? I’m super okay with it.
