Fenty Beauty is adding a concealer to its beloved Pro Filt’r line for an even more flawless face in 2019
Fenty had one hell of a 2018. Rihanna’s namesake brand kept us on our toes with products that became fast faves, and now, less than 24 hours into 2019, Fenty Beauty is at it again. On Instagram this morning, January 1st, Rihanna announced the launch of three new Pro Filt’r complexion products, including a concealer, to help us slay the New Year.
According to a post from the company, Fenty will be adding 10 more shades of the acclaimed, inclusive Pro Filt’r foundation, 50 shades of the new Pro Filt’r concealer ($26), and eight Pro Filt’r setting powders ($32) to the family.
In addition to the three complexion products, you can look forward to three new tools to help you achieve a flawless beat: a Powder Puff Setting Brush, Lil’ Precision Makeup Sponge Duo, and the Concealer Precision Brush. These items will range from $18 to $34.
The new Pro Filt’r items and makeup tools will be available on Fenty’s website, Sephora, and Harvey Nichols on January 11th. Now that you what each item will retail for, it’s time to let your bank account recover from your NYE festivities.
We all know how much Fenty’s Pro Filt’r changed the game. And we expect the same from the Pro Filt’r Concealer.
Only some details have been released about the new creaseproof concealer, but according to Rihanna, it’s “the cure” to your NYE beauty hangover. The songstress-turned-beauty mogul hopped on Instagram to tease the new product in a hilarious video, and from the looks of it, the Pro Filt’r concealer has amazing skin-like coverage and is definitely something you’ll want to add to your vanity for the new year. The translucent powder is made to complement the Pro Fil’tr foundation and concealer. According to Fenty, it’s truly translucent with absolutely no flashback.
It’s safe to say that Fenty Beauty has the complexion category on lock.
The brand, which turned one year old on September 2018, launched with 40 shades of foundation in its product lineup. Women flocked to Sephora to find their perfect shade of foundation, and the effects of that launch shook the beauty industry. We can thank Fenty for getting other brands on the inclusivity train, and we are super excited about these new launches coming on January 11th.
