Hometown: Woodland Hills, CA
Where I live now: Woodland Hills, CA (hooray for still living in my childhood home)

Fave book of ALL time: Hyperbole and a Half. Not sure if that counts as a book (it’s all illustrated), but it’s my favorite.
Person who inspires me the most: This is a very complicated question, but I’m gonna say my father. He’s got quite the entrepreneurial spirit.

What made me want to become a writer: I always used to write as a kid. Even though it was more creative writing/comic book type of stuff (I wrote about fighting aliens with my Labrador), writing was always apart of my life. As corny as it sounds, being able to share an experience, an idea, or a feeling through written words is other-worldly.

Music I listen to when I write: Oh god. Everything. Literally, everything. One minute, I’ll be listening to beautiful orchestral pieces by Max Richter, and the next minute I’ll be listening to a Fetty Wap playlist on YouTube. Really depends on what works in the moment.

Fave place to work: I love working at home, but the issue is, I have a very large, needy dog who loves getting his butt itched. There’s a spacey cafe on La Brea I’ve worked at a few times (Graffiti). Not crazy about the crowd, but it has lots of outlets, big tables, good coffee, and white walls…which is really all that matters, right?
This is the best meme:

My favorite story I wrote/made for HelloGiggles is…My first HG article: ‘You’re an Animal: Fashion Inspired by the Natural World’. Not my best writing, but I still think the concept for that article was pretty cool. It was about using animals for fashion inspiration (I’m a little nuts). I also loved writing the story about the rapper who wrote his entire album in the Apple Store. If you need a little motivation, that’s definitely a great read.

The title of my memoir would be… Where’s the Nearest Bathroom?
