Our fave kid, Jacob Tremblay, celebrates the ‘Room’ Oscar noms and it’s the cutest

Our favorite kid at the moment is Jacob Tremblay. If he hadn’t already stolen our hearts with his breathtaking performance in Room alongside Golden Globe-winner Brie Larson, the photo he just tweeted in celebration of the film’s numerous Oscar nominations would have totally done the trick.

I mean, look at this . . .

THE CUTENESS. We’re dying.

Is it weird that all of our #LifestyleGoals have been perfectly captured in a picture of a 9-year-old? Perhaps if it had been a photo of an ordinary 9-year-old, but Jacob is pretty darn special. In addition to being flat-out adorable, he’s mega talented. He’s been nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild Award for best supporting actor for his role in Room, which is a massive accomplishment, obviously. But the fact that Jacob is the youngest ever nominee in that category makes it even more spectacular.

Room is nominated for four Oscars in all, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Brie Larson), Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. So it kind of makes sense that Jacob is sitting on a fancy balcony somewhere ridiculously chic in a tweed jacket reading Room. But it looks like his coffee cup could use a refill. Just saying.
