Our fave baseball player, Mo’Ne Davis, has a new sneaker line we’re totally into

Mo’Ne Davis won our hearts last year as one of two girls to play in the Little League World Series, and now the amazing 13-year-old is back! Davis has teamed up with Make a Difference Everyday (M4D3) to design a line of sneakers inspired by the game she loves. And the best part: Proceeds are going to benefit Because I am a Girl, which works to end child poverty. Could this girl be any cooler?

The shoes themselves are totally awesome. They feature baseball-style stitching and contrasting with classic baseball colors, along with some brighter options as well. The heel tag will feature the saying “Throw Like A Girl”, which we love.

Davis had this to say about the project in a press release: “I never thought at the age of 13 I’d be a role model, but having young girls look up to me is pretty cool. If I can inspire them to reach their goals, that would be even cooler. Designing shoes with M4D3 is exciting and I wanted them to support Because I am a Girl to help girls and give them a chance at a better future.”

To pick up a pair of her awesome shoes, head to M4D3.
