Someone made a white shirt that's physically impossible to stain. Hallelujah.
About 70% of the time when I’m eating something, especially when it’s a food that’s accompanied by a condiment (salad dressing, chips and salsa) I never fail to spill right onto my shirt. I seriously might as well just start wearing a bib every time I eat.
Well, the stain gods must have heard my cries because some wizards have created something called The Unstainable™ White Shirt. It’s exactly what it sounds like: A white shirt that repels spills and stains. No type of water-based or oil-based liquid can penetrate this shirt. It is a marvel. While red wine and a white shirt is usually a combo designed for disaster, if a glass of Malbec meets your unstainable blouse horizontally, the liquid literally bounces off. Hark, what black magic is this?
This incredible piece of wearable technology was invented by Elizabeth & Clarke, a women’s apparel company known for their affordable, shirts-focused subscription boxes. Right now, there’s a Kickstarter for this wondrous shirt, and it’s already reached way past its goal. There are four different options for shirts, ranging from a work-friendly blouse called “The White” to a simple white tee called “The Liz Lemon.” (The name gods are smiling down on me, too.) You’d think something like this would cost a million dollars, but you can contribute as little as $25 to the Kickstarter to get a shirt of your very own.
Another great thing? Perspiration isn’t even a match for the shirts. It EVAPORATES before even touching the fabric. Are we living in an X-Men movie?
