It doesn’t take much prodding to remember how torn the internet became over “the dress.” You know the one: The striped dress that people swore was either black and blue or white and gold. Well, the 2017 version of the dress is a little less divisive — instead it’s just all sorts of beautiful. Just take a look at the color-changing sequin dress the internet’s obsessed with and you’ll see why. Created by A’Dore Couture Gowns inc, the dress is made of white sequins that when stroked the proper way it turns to gold. So yes, it changes color, but this time it’s on purpose.

Besides this feat of #magick the dress is also pretty stunning in general. Featuring a mermaid silhouette with a high neck, statement train and keyhole cut out, the dress is still prom-esque but with a twist. The custom-made gown can be worn in different ways, thanks to the sequins. Whether you’re going for all-gold, stripes or glam camo, there are plenty of options to choose from.

The couture house specializes in handmade gowns with glamorous accents; think decadent, art deco style dresses with plenty of glitz. Besides this color-changing piece, the houses Instagram also shows off other dresses like a long sleeve crimson gown with sequins and a train of florets, and a silver number with a plunging neckline, fringe and of course, plenty of sequins and a train.

If this dress situation is shaping up to be as viral as the last one, we won’t be mad.
