Summer is a popular time to get married for a great reason. The weather is warm and languid, which means a tropical honeymoon is a no-brainer. Plus, hello — it’s a built-in summer vacay (remember when we actually got those?).

But finding summer wedding dresses can be a little bit of a challenge. For starters, so many of them are just so heavy. With all the beading and long trains and whatnot, a ~traditional~ wedding dress can be way more trouble than it’s worth. Especially in stifling heat and humidity.

So if you’re getting married in the summer, why not have your ensemble be something that complements the season? Whether it’s a backless piece, features a shorter hemline, or has a flowy, festival feel, summer wedding dresses are easy to find if you know where to look.

Here are a few of our favorite summer wedding dresses (and a couple of amazing wedding jumpsuits!) that’ll keep you cool and looking fab af.
