Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet is famous for her bright, bold skirts, and today’s New York Fashion Week ensemble was no exception. She wore a beautiful painted maxi skirt to her SS17 presentation that resembled the fun, whimsical designs we’ve come to expect from her.

Take a close look at the piece. Do you notice anything special about it?

Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice Bendet’s skirt is emblazoned with the words “I’m With Her,” and even features American flags.

All together now: Yass! Hallelujah emoji hands for DAYS.

“#imwithher this fashion week!” Bendet wrote on Instagram.

The piece makes a subtle but important political statement, and we’re so glad she openly expressed her support for Hillary. We’re with her too, Stacey!

Bendet isn’t the first designer to get political this NYFW. On Sunday night, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony ditched the tradition runway show and opted to host the Pageant of the People, a town hall forum that spoke out about causes bigger than fashion.

We’re going to need to get our hands on that skirt ASAP to wear throughout election season. Fingers crossed it will be in style for the next four years to come!
