Was Millie Bobby Brown actually the coolest person at the Calvin Klein show? Yes, she was
Move over, Anna Wintour. The coolest person at Raf Simon’s Calvin Klein debut was Millie Bobby Brown, our favorite tween idol. Clad in a leather jacket, white tee, ripped jeans and Dr. Martens, Millie looked effortless and next generation iconic, thanks to her casual yet on-point aesthetic. The Stranger Things star chose to wear her short hair slicked back, resulting in a laid-back look that feels especially refreshing surrounded by the dressed up fashion set. And even though she chose to take a more carefree attitude with her style, Millie definitely stole the show.
The 12-year-old actress, who stars in the Calvin Klein “by appointment” advertisements, may be relatively new to the limelight, but you’d never know by her effortless approach to fashion. We love that instead of going for “more is more,” Millie chose something she could wear everyday. Not only does she look age-apporpiate, she also just looks enviably cool. Millie sat front row, of course, and looked nothing short of perfection.
And we have to hand it to the star. If we were shaking hands with Anna Wintour, we would definitely be way more nervous. Then again, we guess nothing makes you nervous when you’re Eleven, or Millie Bobby Brown.
Let’s face it, Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker are two of the holiest fashion people, and even in their printed coat beauty, Millie’s chill look captured our sartorial hearts.
Even with industry insiders like Grace Coddington, Greta Gerwig and Tavi Gevinson sitting front row in all their fashion glory, we still can’t get over Millie’s look. While the creative director, actress, and writer, respectively, look très chic, we have to give it up for Millie wearing something so laid-back and still owning it.
Even sitting next to rapper and fashion lover A$AP Rocky, Millie still held her own.
Sorry to the rest of the guests in attendance at the Calvin Klein show, but Millie won the contest. Because let’s be honest, if Millie’s there, she’ll always win.
