Quickest way to turn heads? Just wear a gold dress with blue feather-like embellishments at the bottom to make a loud, proud statement on the red carpet. Because that’s exactly what Blake Lively just did.

Stepping out for the 2017 Met Gala, Blake showed up in a stunning gold Versace number. The gold part of the gown is perfect enough, but once you get down to the bottom of the dress, that’s where it really turns into a solid 💯 look. The dark blue and aqua feather-like wisps really give the whole look a huge POP of color.

It even conveniently matches the *blue* carpet at the Met.

Things Blake looks like: A very fancy peacock, the proudest of the pack. She also kind of looks like a cool phoenix, but one rising from water and ice. We’re digging everything about it.

Blake also brought along a +1 for the evening, in the form of her husband, Ryan Reynolds. While he just went for the standard black tuxedo, it appears as if he didn’t want Blake to be the only one wearing a hint of blue. Ryan actually matched his bow tie to Blake’s dress, and if that just isn’t the cutest thing ever.

Back at home, are James and Ines also sporting something blue?
