Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wore the most unique bridesmaids dresses we've ever seen
When you’ve got a natural eye for fashion, you’re probably going to bring your A-game to your friend’s big wedding. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wore floral prints for their longtime friend Cassie Coane’s New York wedding to Jim Koenig, and proved that bridesmaids don’t necessarily need to match.
When we say “friend’s big wedding,” we mean it in this case — Coane had 18 bridesmaids, which is monumental. But the good news is that when they all got together, wearing their best floral dresses, the photos were extremely colorful and unique. (Plus, can you imagine trying to find a universal dress that flatters 18 people?)
Mary-Kate and Ashley aren’t standing next to each other, but you’ll be able to spot them pretty easily among the sea of flowers.
Ashley chose a black dress, while Mary-Kate’s combination is a bit more intriguing — which describes most of her wardrobe, really. She’s wearing what looks to be a cream-colored robe dress, green sling-backs, and a spring-friendly braided updo.
You can see both dresses a bit more clearly in this short video that was taken.
The bride chose to wear a custom Danielle Frankel lace trim dress featuring a tulle overlay. Needless to say, she looked stunning as well.
The two sisters are still working hard on their clothing lines, notably Elizabeth and James, which is about to celebrate its tenth year. The brand not only has women’s apparel, but also fragrances, handbags, and eyewear. Just a year prior to its launch, Mary-Kate and Ashley introduced The Row, which includes ready-to-wear looks.
