Jamie Sullivan, shield your eyes! A Walk To Remember star, Mandy Moore, wore a gown that would make her character, Jamie, go red. Moore wore the Dalia Maxi dress in navy from designer Solace London to The 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards last night. The gown has a drastic plunging neckline and column-styled maxi skirt that hugs the body. And although the dress showed some skin, the always-elegant Moore looked classy rather than, well, not-so-classy.

The This Is Us actress paired the dress with a simple and delicate pendant necklace and diamond earrings. She wore her hair wavy, kept her makeup natural, and was an overall vision while walking the red carpet.

The straps are attached in a “harness style,” according to the Solace London website, meaning that they are simply wrapped around the arms, leaving the back bare. We love the elegance of a low (or in this case, nonexistent) back on a gown.

This dress retails on the Solace London website for $430, plus another $35 for shipping to the U.S.

If this is a gown you can see yourself wearing to a New Year’s Eve party, but don’t want to spend all of your holiday shopping money to buy it, we have a few less expensive options.

Flutter Freely Navy Blue Maxi Dress from Lulus ($86)

This dress from Lulus also offers a plunging neckline and low back with more secure harness-like straps. Pairing this dress with a statement necklace and some glittery heels will turn it into a New Year’s dream gown.

Plunging V-Neck Chiffon Gown from Lulus ($84)

Also from Lulus, but available at Nordstrom, this navy chiffon dress is equipped with a plunging v-neck and thigh-high slit. The slit allows you to show off your party shoes and the overall look is a perfect base to layer a fur coat or shrug over.

High-Slit Cami Maxi Dress from Forever 21 ($19.53)

Forever 21

Forever 21 also has a wide variety of plunging neckline maxi dresses, but we liked this one because of it’s slitted, form-fitting skirt and criss-cross back straps. Once again, pair this super comfy knit dress with some more flamboyant accessories and you will be the belle of the New Year’s ball.

So even though the Jamie Sullivan in all of us might not have the gumption to sport this look, the Mandy Moore’s in all of us do! So scour the internet to find your perfect plunging neckline match and ring in 2017 with style and confidence!
