It’s finally happening, Madewell is launching a line of intimates! Our favorite retailer for pared down classics, the launch will include 42 pieces — sixteen bralettes and twenty six bottoms in cotton, lace and mesh. The line will be sold at all Madewell stores as well as at all Nordstrom locations. And with prices ranging from $12.50 to $35, you can have your cake and eat it too. And just like the retailers main line, which features high-quality denim and classics with artful details, we can expect the same from their intimates. All of the pieces in the new collection are made in comfortable, mix-and-match fabrics that are meant to work with any wardrobe. AKA, you’ll be wearing them under everything.

The line started when head designer Joyce Lee and her team were having trouble finding minimalist bralettes that were no fuss and high quality. The idea? To look and feel good, no matter what you’re wearing. “We wanted to give our woman those foundational pieces she needs, because that’s where it all starts when she gets dressed. The collection is a little bit tomboy, a little bit sexy and—above all—feels amazing on. Our ultimate goal is to create pieces that are equally beautiful as they are functional,” says Lee. So whether you’re in the mood for a black, lace bra with gold detailing or a simple gray bralette, this line really does have something for everyone.
