Kim Kardashian graced the red carpet in a blazer — and not much else
Leave it to Kim Kardashian to take an outfit that would look boxy and blah on mere mortals, and make it look like it belongs on a saucy goddess. When we wear a shapeless blazer and long trousers, we just look like we stepped into a suit that’s one size too big. But when a Kardashian does it, it’s headline-making news.
While attending the annual LACMA Art+Film Gala, Kim Kardashian wore a suit that wasn’t exactly figure-flattering, but somehow it worked. From the oversized design to the long sleeves to the pants that could have used a slight hem, Kim made it work and turned it into a lewk!
Oh, we should also mention she didn’t wear a shirt under her blazer.
No shirt, no problem.
For the 7th annual gala, Kim opted for a vintage Tom Ford for Gucci suit, and that was pretty much it. No shirt. No accessories. The no-makeup-makeup look. Just a suit.
We’re so used to seeing Kim with a super fitted, glamed-out look, so this was a bit of a departure, but of course Mrs. West had heads turning when she said “no thanks” to wearing a shirt (or even a bra!) underneath her suit.
Double-sided tape working overtime.
Though a pantsuit is such a classic style and cut, would we really expect Kim to do it in a classic way? She’s already showed us she doesn’t do blazers like us common folk.
Just last month, she stepped out in an Alexander Wang blazer mini dress and sock boot heels.
Not the type of blazer you’d wear to work!
This is what we call a classic with a sexy twist.
