The ’90s gave us many fashion ~lewks.~ Some we love (crop tops, goth everything), and some we really don’t need to revisit ever again (tube tops, camo print). But one of the worst ’90s fashion offenders might be the camo print cargo short.

And yet, Kim Kardashian somehow pulls off this seemingly tired look without any effort.

Camo on its own? Sure. We’ll rock a camo-print jacket. Cargo short? Oh, no no no. Camo cargo short? GIRL STOP.

As we browse through these photos of Kim in high-waisted camo cargo shorts, we’re having intense middle-school flashbacks coupled with a bizarre need to wear this identical outfit?

Because nearly everything in Kim’s wardrobe is high-waisted, we assume she gets these vintage pants tailored to her waistline.

Kim was spotted in this throwback look while shopping in vintage stores in New York with younger sister Kendall Jenner. How appropriate.

While Kim’s take on camo cargo is ultra chic, when we think of camo, this is what comes to mind:

Kim has actually been rocking an incredibly ’90s vibe for a while now. Look at this TUBE TOP!

Adidas track shorts? If that doesn’t say late ’90s, turn of the century fashion, we don’t know what does.

Makes sense, seeing as Kim’s new thing is vintage fashion.

“I love finding vintage pieces,” Kim revealed at the NBCUniversal Upfronts, “That’s what I love to do. I go to all these random vintage stores and look online. I’m a big online shopper in finding different vintage vendors.”

Coincidentally, the Kardashian/Jenner’s hairstylist Jen Atkin recently joked that the ’90s are the new “Old Hollywood.” We guess it really is.
