We’re praying the clock never strikes midnight because we don’t want Katie Holmes’ current look to ever disappear! Holmes looked like a modern Cinderella in a pale blue wrap dress at the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour today. The actress was there to promote her upcoming television show, The Kennedys – After Camelot, in which she plays Jackie Kennedy.

And Holmes certainly radiated a sense of American royalty at the press tour. Her airy, teal chiffon dress with crochet lace trim is something that Jackie Kennedy would approve of.

Heck, Cinderella herself would probably want to steal this look!

And in true Kate Holmes fashion, she kept her hair and makeup natural and held back on the accessories. Alongside After Camelot costar Matthew Perry and director Jon Cassar, Holmes’ natural glow stole the spotlight.

Sorry, boys.

Kudos to Holmes for wearing a summer dress in the depths of winter. She makes us want to hop a plane to a tropical island. If you want to recreate this look to cheer yourself up during the winter doldrums, we have some great, affordable options to do so.

Try this tulle sleeveless midi dress from Topshop ($58).

We like this dress because the tulle emulates the airiness of Holmes’ dress. The light teal is a perfect summery color and the ruffle underneath the bust adds a bit of interest similar to the lace on Holmes’ piece. Simple yet elegant.

Or this ruffled polka dot wrap dress from Topshop ($100).

More casual than the above dress, this mint green selection wraps around the waist and ties at the side. The ruffles at the neck and side skirt seam echo the ruffled sleeves of Holmes’ dress, and the metallic polka dots add a little extra pizazz.

This teal dress from the ASOS bridal section might also do the trick ($69).

Even though this number is fit for a bridesmaid, it can easily be worn as a casual summer party dress too. With similar sleeves to Holmes’, plus the detailing on the bodice, this flouncy sea-foam dress is delicate, classy, and straight from the wardrobe of an aspiring princess.

If Katie Holmes says it’s okay to wear summer clothing, then we are on board. Perhaps we can will the warm weather to come our way if we show winter that it doesn’t dictate our fashion. Bye cold!
