Jessica Alba wore this studded moto jacket to give her maternity style a punk edge
Let it be known that no one’s got anything on Jessica Alba’s maternity style. The soon-to-be mom-of-three shut down the front row of Rebecca Minkoff’s NYFW runway show in one fell swoop, adding one classically rock ‘n’ roll piece to her otherwise ladylike outfit: a punk-happy studded leather moto jacket. Sure, it may sound like a tricky feat to pull off such a daring combination. But for the red carpet veteran, it was easier than a piece of cake.
Undeniably radiant and glowing, Alba paired her studded Rebecca Minkoff moto jacket with a sweet floral dress. As a matter of fact, if Jess hadn’t been cradling her precious baby bump, we might not even have realized she was pregnant. Her incognito maternity look is just that brilliant.
Um, does that jacket come in our size?
Being a VIP at Rebecca Minkoff’s show certainly entitles one to a few fashion freebies, and we’re guessing the 36-year-old’s flawless outfit may have been one of those. But for the average shopper, this glorious Adelia jacket does not come cheap at $798 a pop. However, if you’ve got the investment money, it really is a stunning piece that would make any outfit shine.
Seriously, this outfit is. Just. Too. Good.
Considering she’s had ample time to hone in on her maternity style since her pregnancies with daughters Honor, nine, and Haven, six, it’s no surprise the actress-turned-business-mogul has fine-tuned her sartorial predilections down to a science. Pregnant or not, Jess never makes a style misstep. It’s just one of the many reasons we adore her, after all.
Simply, this lady never disappoints. Now keep up the excellent style work, Jess!
