Long before Jenna Dewan-Tatum hit the big screen in the wildly popular romantic dancing drama Step Up with now-husband Channing Tatum, the 35-year old mother of one was actually a pretty distinguished dancer. The actress has worked as a backup dancer with mega-stars like Janet Jackson, Pink, Missy Elliot, and Christina Aguilera over the years, so is it any wonder she went back to her roots for the latest Danskin campaign?

In a promotional video for the shoot, Dewan-Tatum says, “This is definitely not a typical shoot; this is way more me. I get to actually dance and move and feel free. I grew up wearing these leotards.”

She added, “I like to say once a dancer, always a dance. In everything—the way you walk, the way you move is part of being a dancer. It’s one of the positive side effects of dancing for 25 years. You’re very in tune with your body.”

How awesome! She looks so happy being in her element!
