Someone actually created IKEA Yeezy mashup shoes
IKEA is having a serious fashion moment right now. The Swedish furniture company recently inspired Balenciaga to create a controversial $2,145 version of the iconic IKEA Fracta bag (normally priced at 99 cents). Now, IKEA has inspired custom shoes designer Dan Gamache to create an IKEA-branded pair of Yeezy Boost 350 V2s.
As a result of that inspiration, these electric blue beauties feature the classic IKEA yellow stripe across the side. It’ll make you feel like you just stepped inside that glorious haven of Swedish meatballs and easy-to-put-together furniture.
Gaze upon this masterpiece:
When Gamache accidentally wrecked his white Yeezys, inspiration hit:
Well I destroyed my cream white Yeezys so what better way to salvage them then to give in and hop on the IKEA wave lol. Even though this type of custom was inevitable I had seen the @brucehatoo photoshop floating around so I wanted to give the man some props as well. This was meant to be corny and fun, it was a nice break from being serious all the time lol.
Meanwhile, other Internet users have taken up the challenge to transform other pairs of shoes into IKEA wonderlands.
Completely believably gym wear.

Of course, people are freaking out.
Consequently, IKEA fans are feeling inspired enough to make their own IKEA clothes, like hats, bags, and um, underwear, from the Fracta bags.
In conclusion, IKEA is so versatile, so chic. And Kanye West should really be jotting down these ideas for sneakers, because we totally want a pair of our own.
