On the day of her birth, and in anticipation of the drop of her brand-new beauty line, we celebrate the many looks of superstar Robin Rihanna Fenty.

RiRi has announced a new makeup line called Fenty Beauty, and everyone’s buzzing about it. Not all of the buzz is positive, as haters will do what they do best. Some have already thrown shade on the sneak peeks of Fenty Beauty products. (Do we honestly think that Rihanna gives a flying you-know-what?) We are personally totally stoked for the new arrival, and can’t wait to get our hands on the holographic lipstick and whatever else she cooks up!

This isn’t Rihanna’s first foray into the world of makeup; in recent years she’s partnered with MAC on several totally awesome projects. She’s done fragrance, footwear, and inspired hair envy in every corner of the globe. From a strong brow (the cover of “Bitch Better Have My Money”) to the dark lip she often comes back to, Rihanna has always made strong look sexy, even when vulnerable (like in the video for “Stay”).

Even illustrated, she slays.

From good girl under the Umbrella, to S&M badass, Rihanna always, always slays. Here’s a look back at some of her greatest beauty looks.

Nude beauty. True vulnerability is all that shows through in the video for “Stay.”

Blue-ish green eyeshadow with bold pinks lips, and jewel encrusted details, only RiRi could pull it off!
