Everything old, is definitely new again, and we’re so okay with it. Most recently, Emily Robinson made Victorian ruffles futuristic and fresh with her dress choice.

Yes, we did say Victorian ruffles and futuristic in the same sentence!

On Friday, Robinson stepped out at the Inaugural GLAAD Rising Stars Luncheon, and she looked stunning. The Transparent actress gave a nod to the old and a glimpse of the future with one dress.

In fact, it’s the Victorian style ruffles paired with the sexy, lace skirt that have us doing a serious double take.

The 18-year-old actress was a total vision in white at the Beverly Hills event. The different shapes, patterns, and overall sheer look make this dress totally unique.

We never knew we could love a turtleneck style so much until this dress came along.

It’s beyond sophisticated.

Of course, Robinson had to complete her all-white ensemble with matching heels. We love that she opted for a feminine heel — with a pretty bow detail — to complete her girly red carpet look.

She even added some personal thoughts about the event to her Instagram page.

Although we are in awe of Robinson’s latest look, it isn’t the first time the actress has looked white-hot on a carpet. In fact, white seems to be the star’s go-to color this year, and we can see why.

She looks flawless whenever she has the color on!

Case and point…this Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris Toast to Young Hollywood event wardrobe choice. More ruffles are a definitely okay in our books.

Another look we love is this delicate white frock, which the actress donned during New York Fashion Week.

It’s like Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O teamed up to create a white dress and this was the perfect final product!

Basically, Robinson is showing us that you don’t need to be a bride to totally rock it in white.
