We’ve all been there at some point in our lives. We take special care to find the perfect outfit for a special occasion, and — low and behold — it turns out someone else shows up in the same ensemble. But can you imagine six women wearing the same dress to one wedding (who didn’t plan it)? Seems statistically impossible, right?

Well, it happened.

Debbie Speranza of Syndey, Australia, shared a photo of the hilarious incident in a now-viral Facebook post (the post has been liked over 50,000 times). “My cousin and I walked into the reception and saw each other [in the same dress] and started laughing,” she said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. “But then another walked in . . . and then another one . . . and another.”

We repeat: These are not bridesmaids, people! They are just six women who all happened to randomly wear the exact same dress in the exact same color to the exact same wedding (and yes, the dress does come in another color, which makes the coincidence even weirder).

LOL. Agreed.

According to, the amazingly popular dress is called the “Debbie Lace Pencil Dress,” and was purchased from an Australian site called “Forever New” by four of the women, and from Portmans by the remaining two.

Seems to us like both sellers should create their own wedding-specific section, since they clearly know what dress-wearing-wedding-goers want!
