We’d like to know if there’s anyone out there who doesn’t love The Addams Family. Whether you’re a fan of the movies or the television show, there’s something heartwarming about the kooky and creepy Addamses. They inspire us with their gothic style — especially little Wednesday Addams and her collared dresses. Keira Knightley’s floral take on Wednedsay’s signature piece makes us feel like she agrees with this sentiment as well.

While Wednesday probably wouldn’t have been into garden brights, we can’t deny that Keira’s rendition feels fresh and inspiring.

Instead of opting for a classic black dress with a white collar à la Wednesday, Keira’s Gucci take on the staple is much more vibrant. With bold bunches of flowers in bright shades, this full-length dress has “garden goth” written all over it. (And yes, it also includes a sharp collar.) Paired with a high waist and white cuffs, this piece feels nostalgic but not dated.

With ’70s-style Tabitha Simmons shoes and her long hair in soft waves, Keira channeled her inner hippie.

Keira wore this look to the 2017 BGC Annual Charity Day on September 11th, where she answered phone calls in honor of those who lost their lives during the attack on the Twin Towers. All the money raised is going to dozens of charities, so it looks like Keira did good while looking good, too.
